Favorite Handgun Company?

While I am a 1911 man, and freely admit in the 90's a Springfield Armory knocked Colt of my hip, the S&W 4516 did woo me away for a while. Double action makes sense to me, and does not scare girlfriends like a cocked and locked 45. You have to play to the crowd sometimes. Not anymore since I am happily (if unexpectedly) married. But back in the day, the first time a dame saw a 1911 sometimes they were freaked out.

If you keep it covered up during daylight it won't scare them so much

I carried a 4566 for a while but it was so heavy it kept trying to pull my pants down

My top 3 favorites from my collection:
‘91 Sig 228
‘91 Browning Hi Power MkIII
‘23 CZ 75 SP 01 Omega suppressed

I purchased my first CZ this year, but it was a rifle, the .17 HMR Varmint. Beautiful furniture, and gnat's *** accurate. My sole gripe is the plastic magazine. Works just fine, but I'm not a fan. I'm so impressed with the rifle that now I've gotta' get myself one of their pistols!
I’ve had 75’s for years. Shadow 2 (with Kadet kit -.22 conversion) is THE most accurate handgun I own. Pre covid I was shooting 200-250 9mm/week. An 8” steel plate at 75 yards was almost stupid easy with the Shadow. I’ve got a CZ .22 rifle that shoots in one hole at 25 yards allday

Whaaaaaaaat?

Potential responses -
a) "That's like asking me which one is my favorite child"
b) "Depends on which day you ask me"
c) "Let me see what I took to the range last"
d) "Based on current production, history or both"
e) "Let me think about it, and I'll get back to you.....maybe"
f) "If its still in the safe, I'd probably consider that company a favorite.....unless its the Taurus....or the Glock 😁 "

(Thanks, you motivated me to pull stuff out and update a visual/pic inventory.)
