If you keep it covered up during daylight it won't scare them so muchWhile I am a 1911 man, and freely admit in the 90's a Springfield Armory knocked Colt of my hip, the S&W 4516 did woo me away for a while. Double action makes sense to me, and does not scare girlfriends like a cocked and locked 45. You have to play to the crowd sometimes. Not anymore since I am happily (if unexpectedly) married. But back in the day, the first time a dame saw a 1911 sometimes they were freaked out.
