Gas Masks... Do you have them? If so, what kind to you have and why?

The short answer is no I don't have a gas mask.
The long answer is if I have a gas mask shouldn't I need to chemical protection suit? And if I have a gas mask shouldn't I have replacement filters for it? Because once you put the filters in the gas masks are only good for so long and then they don't filter properly. Similarly the MOPP suit starts degrading as soon as you pull it out of the packaging.
And then I should have some Decon equipment which also has a shelf life.
When I went through the NBC training in the Army beyond just going to the gas chamber I learned how much infrastructure and support units you need to survive and operate in a chemically contaminated environment.
As a private citizen I don't have the finances To set all that up And I certainly don't have the finances to set all that up for my family.
