I'm always down for more ammo. I carry a G48 MOS at work right now. I was able to get the factory 15 round mags for it and then order two more. After reading this I looked at magazine extensions and found two. I could bump my 15 round mags to 20. However, it would be cheaper to just buy another 15 round mag. So I'm just going to wait for more mags to come in and I will just buy two more 15 round mags for the cost of one +5 extension. Silly.
This is what worries me. Yes, you may live 1,000 miles from LA or New York or Miami but there is still the possibility of some terrorist who happens to live in your area wants his share of fame. I would have bet nobody would ever have shot up a school here until someone did so a couple of years ago.
I'm slow. It took me a minute to figure out what MOB meant but it was a minute well spent

In 1979 when I had left active duty and workng the street in a local PD, we were receiving warning bulletins about Iranian students who were "sleeper cells", right down to the make and model cars they were driving. They have been here for a while. I remember thinking, sheesh, with home grown cranks and crooks and these guys, why would you go anywhere unarmed?

I believe it was the late 70s that someone highjacked a school bus full of children and buried the bus, using heavy equipment. The kids were on the way home when the bad guys stopped the bus and got on, armed, and took the kids.
It doesn't have to look Arabic to be dangerous.

I remember the case. They locked them in a buried semi trailer. The bus driver and older kids dug their way out and all of them escaped. The three inept kidnappers never got around to sending the ransom note and they all got life.

I typically have one in the gun and two in mag carrier and sometimes I like to condition up by adding more weight and will add my Rifle rated 11"x12" Plates and Sub Zero plate carrier loaded with three 30 round 5.56 magazines, two or three more loaded magazines in my All Terrain pants that are usually already loaded with about 10lbs of things I find most useful around the house. Body weight 158 lbs + 31 lbs of EDC gear. The pants are usually holding the 3D knee pad system as well. I especially like having those on in the colder months when I build and maintain a fire in the fireplace, cleaning the ash out, adding logs etc. Up and down goes much better with the knee pads. Of the tactical technician style cargo pants I like their knee pad system the best. The pocket for them doubles as a mesh ventilation pocket. They put a lot of thought and worked with feedback from customers to develop each iteration and style. They have so much to choose from it will take me years to justify buying everything. But I am working on it, lol.
