Too heavy for my taste, the M16’s handling qualities were one of the strong points, a 100 round magazine adds too much weight.

I'm always down for more ammo. I carry a G48 MOS at work right now. I was able to get the factory 15 round mags for it and then order two more. After reading this I looked at magazine extensions and found two. I could bump my 15 round mags to 20. However, it would be cheaper to just buy another 15 round mag. So I'm just going to wait for more mags to come in and I will just buy two more 15 round mags for the cost of one +5 extension. Silly.
