Nope, it appears to be the mag release. I’m gonna try a different brand and see how that works. From doing a lot of reading on other forums etc. the Wilsons are awesome in .45 but can be hit or miss sometimes on the 9. But again they still make good stuff.

Yeah kinda stumped the mag release spring is wicked stiff even with clp and multiple engagements but again also ejects the OEM mags like a bad habit. Monday may warrant a call to Wilson and see what they say. I would still buy their products even with this weird thing going on.

Yep just pulled the mag release from the frame. It drops smoothly from the frame with the slide off and on. Me thinks it’s the angle of the mag catch the engages the slot in the magazine or the spring tension. Not feeling any burs on the release or catch.

Yeah it’s a little difficult to insert empty mag. Rack the slide back and I ensure I press the mag release all the way and it sticks in there. If I manually lock the slide back it’s interment.

Yeah I used a rem oil wipe on the mags. Whatever the issue is it appears to happen from the mag release up towards the the top of the frame. It also appears to be towards the rear of the frame by where the tigger bow and disconnecter engage. I’ve pulled that and all appears fine. And again only...

I’d take the plate to a hardware store like Ace go to the machine screw section and find the thread pitch and length. That will at least get you started. They also have a gun screw section as well

My OEM Operator did not so gonna have to take a file and some aluminum black or just keep using a small tool to push back the detent

My advice…go enclosed emitter I get tired of clean the schmutz from the inside of the lens. Easier to just wipe the outside off with an enclosed emitter
