Never used a laser before so at what distance do you sight them in? Can I just line it up with my sighted in red dot scope?

I shot the Saint AR pistol at 15 yds to get it close and get the feel. Went to 25yds adjusted down then right. Final 3 in the middle off the bench. I ran 7 or 8 shots at the 8" hanging steel off hand and clanged them all. Very happy! I think it would do better with the smalller dot Sig Sauer...

Thank you all for your input. I have determined it is a "Saint" not an Edge or a Victor. All 3 are simular with different factory options. The trigger on this one is an upgrade to a Timney 3lb. The Sig dot scope is an add on. It came with 5 30 round mags and 131 rounds of ammo 1000 out the door...

I am trying to determine how it shipped and what upgrades may have been done.

Please explain. I'm a single shot guy. Last couple purchases were semi autos but these are a whole new game for me. Also it is a temp cobbled up strap from my pile until I can figure out what hardware I need and best location for it.
