I think it’s interesting, they refused to give me an account because I was not going to spend enough money with them. Thats what happens when you turn away customers, I literally have accounts with 50 something distributor's. The distributor that has what I need in stock gets the money first, then who ever has the best deal or offers like free shipping over a certain amount etc. If they were turning away mom and pop shops what did they expect. Reminds me of Colt who did not care about civilian sales since they had government contracts. Most of my dealer friends have never even heard of Big Rock, and I accidentally found out about them last year. I have been in the firearms industry damn near 25 years so their advertising must have sucked.

Never heard of them, my one dealer gets most from Lipsey’s…..

They were originally based in Portland as All Sports. They were the big local distributor for many of the gun shops in the PNW. Back in those days, the reps went from store to store hawking the latest deals or the new lineup of guns. I made it a point to be at the gun shop when the rep was, there was lots of information to be had and he usually cost me a lot of money.
