and artemis 2 mission is having toilet issues
Yep, that's the one. When I posted that plea for help, there was no other post between the one in question and my posted question and that's the reason for no post #. Apparently Anni had posted but it hadn't shown up yet on my screen. jj
Ain't this the truth! Earlier today I saw where someone had made the sarcastic statement that a "plumber had been hired to head ICE" and how/why did that happen since he had no college degree ... implying that only someone with a degree could be effective in congress or head of a federal dept. It occurred to me that it's many folks with many college degrees that has gotten us into the predicament we find ourselves in today. Now, that's not a slap to anyone who holds a degree, it's just saying that back when farmers, small business owners, etc, served as congressional representatives and did the country's business then went back home till the next session of congress, we were in much better shape as a country.
I had an uncle who grew up in the depression. 8th grade education only. One of THE smartest men I ever knew. He built, wired and plumbed his own house, could overhaul an engine or transmission AND was an engineer at Electromotive Division of GM, working on locomotive engine designsAin't this the truth! Just something to think about y'all.
A formal education does not mean a thing: If the person is either just floating along just for any degree or has a degree, like "Underwater Basket Weaving" or similar. There are still people with drive and need a degree in their field to advance in their career.I had an uncle who grew up in the depression. 8th grade education only. One of THE smartest men I ever knew. He built, wired and plumbed his own house, could overhaul an engine or transmission AND was an engineer at Electromotive Division of GM, working on locomotive engine designs. Meanwhile I have two nephews with “degrees” who can’t manage to get or hold a job and lack the sense to pour p—s out of a boot. Intelligence has Nothing to do with “education”, esp these days.
