Emergency Food Storage.

Wise is the worst supplier you could use. Overpriced, undersized portions, inadequate caloric value, lack of nutrition all around. They should be shut down for defrauding the public. If you want proper emergency food, stick with the real experts that have been in business for over 25 years and are trusted by Mormons (who are big on food preps); that's Emergency Essentials at https://www.beprepared.com

Emergency Essentials carries Mountain House, Augason Farms, their own house branded freeze-dried & dehydrated foods, and MREstar.

Another supplier is My Patriot Supply: https://mypatriotsupply.com They specifically refuse to sell to government agencies because right now the government is trying to "suck the oxygen out of the room" by buying up all the storage survival food companies' production capacity, presumably to prevent the public from preparing for long-term disasters.

Very true. Standard canned goods, while not decades, are good for multiple years when stored properly. Ditto dry goods like pasta, rice, etc. If you have a generator you can rely on frozen foods a bit more than folks without a generator. The trick is rotation - keep a certain number of cans/boxes of the items on hand, and put new ones in the back as you consume the older ones in the front.
