Ford breaks record on number of recalls for 2025

Nice trucks, guys.

I know this is cliche, but one of my biggest regrets is letting my '89 460 5 spd. go in 2020. It was like letting a family member go.

Seriously, I got a lump in my throat now. None of these new trucks will ever replace that. Plus, I'm not connected with the machine in the new ones. We're isolated from them with things like electric steering and automatic transmissions and plastic touchscreens.

You guys need to hang on to your old iron. Please.

Just got a recall letter for my 2020 GT350. Rear camera.
Meh...
I gotta admit, our rear-view camera was intermittant and fixed before we even got the recall.

I was in LOVE with the large mirrors that the Superduty had. Backing up was a delight. And since I'd never had a rear-view camera, i hadn't noticed it wasn't always working until a passenger told me.

It was a VERY dangerous issue.

After 30 years working for a city driving lots of trucks, I learned to back up with mirrors. I can’t back up with the rearview cameras except at night. It helps a lot because they’re illuminated better than my backup lights illuminate.

our 2012 edge did a weird rear camera thing
0ur 23 explorer has a grill and rear camera but it falls very short of the truck
it would flip the image ..as in the left side would be shown as on the right. really weird
then it started doing the upside down view but the left side was actually the left side
they put in a new camera and it was all good
my 24 super duty has one in grill, one on each mirror, one on top cab, one in tail gate to see hitch, and one in top of tail gate if gate is down, and HUD ..the HUD is fantastic
SD mirrors are also fantastic,
they are amazing compared to my 22 f150 that had all but the one in the top of tailgate
turn signal cameras are the cats meow towing a trailer, i wish the display would show up in the instrument panel as well, instead of center stack

I rely on my rear camera ALL the time for my Nissan Titan XD truck.
The Shelby rarely gets driven, so it's not an issue really. I've only put on 3,000 miles since new 🤣
