Glocks carried for personal security professionals

Dontcha know, we the people means we the profits? 😂🤣
The Glock marketing strategy was to get LE to adopt Glocks, so the civilian market would want them, and that's where the money is. They were positioned with a reliable gun at a low price right when the tidal wave of LE wanting a high cap semi auto was happening. Their marketing strategy was brilliant. It is a good reliable firearm that was cheap to buy in quantity and it became an institution in itself.

I’ve owned more than a few Glocks. Not one failed to go bang ever. Whether 1000+ rounds or just a couple hundred before I moved it on. While I did replace the sights on a few (mainly to add black sights to see MOS optic dots better), the triggers on all worked just fine. I would have zero qualms running a Glock for a security detail.

If I still possessed any strikers, the majority would be Glock…and one Hellcat running a treaded barrel and compensator kit. But that’s water under the bridge.

There is a way to improve them
