I have a Holosun 507k Green Dot mounted on my Sig365. I have it sighted in just above the front sight. The green dot shows up very well. I recently purchased a Springfield Echelon which I am looking to mount the same Holosun on it. It has been suggested that a Vortex Defender-ST is a good fit for the Springfield. You might check out either of those for your Hellcat Pro.I am looking to add a green dot to my Hellcat Pro. But I want to be able to keep the iron sights also. It appears that a fair amount of sights tend to block the use of the iron sights. At least from the hours of reading I have done. What sights might be good?
Ditto.I have the Vortex Defender CCW. I absolutely love it.
Co-witnesses great. Mounted right up. And the new version has the shake a wake feature.
Lifetime warranty and great customer service.
Sportsman's Warehouse. I had some gift cards to put towards it.Did you purchase the Vortex Defender directly from mfg or from retail gun shop?

Me too!Holosun HE507K-GR X2. I have one on my Echelon...
Thank you. Looks like I will be giving Holosun some more money.I can't say enough good things about the Holosun HE507K-GR X2. I have one on my Echelon and one on my Masada Slim. They have shake awake and the doughnut of death reticle which really helps with getting used to using the optic.

I like to train both ways. I have carry guns with and without. I like learning the dot, but I also prefer the iron sights on a few.I’m still on the fence on optics on my firearms. Yes it’s nice since I put a Holosun on both M&P’s. My HCP is without one (and I pawned off the optic from the gear up program).
I, too, have reservations about mounting an optic on each of my EDCs. My accuracy has improved with the Holosun mounted on my Sig. It does take some time in the transition from iron sights to an optic. Also it takes me longer to sight in on the target with an optic. I do like the Holosun because of the reticule circle that does help in sighting. With the Holosun you do not need to remove the optic from the weapon to change the battery.I have a thing about putting red dots on 1911’s and my EDC. While I can hit my targets I must admit I am not as accurate or consistent with these old eyes. I have been looking at the vortex, sig, holosun. The holosun carry has got my attention.

When I qualified for my CCL, I couldn’t use an optic at all. Granted I’m still considered a rookie at shooting (in my book) and try to be open minded about everything (yes I can become a fanboy quickly) but with optics is a very slow process to say I can trust it. Both of my M&P’s have Holosun on them but I notice that I have a thing for the iron sights when I go to the range.I like to train both ways. I have carry guns with and without.
