Agree. Down here in my parts of the Deep South, guys spend real money on their dogs and they take good care of them.

Not so.
Small ones under 50lbs are good. Large hogs get a musty, foul flavor to them. Big boars are disgusting.
Wont bother with anything big. A football size piglet is pretty tender

Agreed. We only butcher the sows, the boars go into the ditch. Usually I just take the backstraps and hams without opening the cavity
