Yes, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has discontinued the use of the Sig Sauer P320 as its service handgun, with plans to transition to the Glock 19 MOS with Trijicon RMR HD optics. This decision was reported on July 9, 2025, amid concerns about the P320’s safety, particularly its potential for unintentional discharges. Posts on X indicate that ICE finalized this switch, choosing the Glock 19 MOS over the Glock 45 MOS, following a pattern seen in other agencies like the Milwaukee Police Department and the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission, which also phased out the P320 due to similar safety issues. However, these claims should be treated as inconclusive without official confirmation from ICE, as no direct statement from the agency is provided in the available information.

So long p320. Guess a bunch will be for sale now
The ICE guns won’t be. Customs S&W CS-1 revolvers (3 and 4” 686) were the last federal guns to be sold to the civilian market in the early 1990’s.

President Clinton’s admin made it a requirement Federal guns either went to other Federal agencies or were destroyed.

My agency cut up a ton of M14’s, M1 Carbines Colt and S&W revolvers
And I cried but my McMillin Sniper Rifle whem they said it had to make rounds (even though it still did one hole groups)

I do a lot of joking about 320's, i have four of them. All shoot really well and accurate. i don't know if any of the stories are true. but i would not carry one of mine. they are range toys only. i also don't watch youtubers on anything. except music. now i do watch the exile armory girl. that place has everything and at good prices.

How DARE you make a new post about this? There's already like 3, TWO of which are from me. Don't you realize when you make a new post about a new topic, the server comes closer and closer to exploding? Can't you smell the purple smoke from where you are?

There is nothing in the world more important than cramming everything into one topic with hundreds of pages to sift through. Somehow that makes the forum more effective and enjoyable. Post counts matter!

Is you tryin to start a fight?

You're a smart guy, Belt!! That's about all these models are good for. Range toys.

I'll have to check her out!

Anyway, now that I've had my fun with the "There's already a topic about this" crowd, back to business: It's not about the damn gun. The model shouldn't be carried, I think everyone with ANY level of brain function understands this (even if they won't admit it). Every company occasionally makes a bad gun, or a good gun with a bad part. When that happens, the company is usually quick to recall and apologize. Life moves on, they are forgiven. Things happen, we're only human.

We can forgive companies for their mistakes. What I can't forgive is a company that refuses to acknowledge their mistake, despite mountains of evidence. Especially when that mistake involves firearms and people's lives.

NOT defending Clinton yet as I recall this was just an Executive Order. This could have been discarded by any other President with the stroke of a pen. Neither Bush or Trump have done so and can shoulder some of the blame. BHO gets a pass because he is in full agreement with disarming the surfs and Brandon gets a pass because he didn't know if he was a foot or a horseback. ;)
