Kuna Malfunction

I got 6 mags loaded up for Saturday’s outdoor session…and I plan on hammering it. I’m north of 800 rounds through mine. Other than cracked mags which SA replaced for me… zero issues. And even the cracked mags ran without issue.
Sorry you guys are having this kinda luck. My Kuna is my favorite pistol to shoot with the can on it.
So far, Federal Syntech has been the most quiet, but not by much. Looking to get outdoors to see how quiet it really is with different ammo.

Okay guys, little update. After about 45 rounds in my kuna after the extractor being replaced. I am now shipping it back off to Springfield to get another extractor. I found the extractor all over the ground couldn't find the spring. I was so pissed I left in such a hurry I left all the parts sitting on the bench. WTF is going on

Sounds like they need to put you a new bolt and everything instead of just the extractor. no way that pin should have backed out in 45 rounds. kinda sounds like the hole is to big for the pin. probably do it again if they don't exchange the bolt.

Going on two weeks now waiting for it to return from SA, haven’t heard anything. They must have thousands of these with the same issue. Not a good look for SA. If it does it again (3rd time), I will definitely explore my rights as a consumer to have it bought back. I understand that it is a firearm and returning one is unheard of. Maybe it’s time, they need to be accountable for their poor quality. Either way, I wouldn’t recommend to anyone buy a SA product. We all spend our hard earned money on guns & ammo, we should expect better quality than this. It’s just a matter of time before this happens to someone and they are injured or worse. This is a safety concern. Maybe SA should issue a recall.

That’s what I was thinking as well. I took my bolt out a couple weeks back and didn’t see where these parts were coming from. But my thought is that the bolt may be out of spec. I shoot mine several times a week, not many rounds, but pretty consistent. I haven’t had any problems with either the bolt or the mags. 🤷‍♂️
