Kuna significant problem?

Ya, back when I first got and shared my KUNA footage I was asked about that problem and other reported one. I can say, for me, with a few thousand rounds through it on the range, in competition, in the shoot house, etc etc... not one damn jam or issue. I actually think this is one of the best PCC style guns I ever shot, including my DD PCC which was more than twice the cost. JMO ;)

I love my Kuna! Extremely soft shooting and very compact and lightweight. I did swap out my polymer lower for an aluminum lower from Nexus Arms so it can use Scorpion mags which I have a lot of already.

It was recently awarded pistol of the year. That’s why this video is a surprise to me

I remember mentioning (or commenting on) this same problem months ago on another thread on this forum. Idk....My SP5 doesn't have a gap large enough for this to occur...Qualifier....mine is an SP5, not an MP5. I also have never tried clearing a chamber upward. Always downward to allow gravity to assist.

Food for thought.

I have over 2K rounds through mine, literally.. not one single issue. 90% suppressed.
No FTF, no FTE… I bore snake it every range trip, tear it down for a full cleaning every 500 rounds or so.
Throw a few drops of oil here and there.
Only issues I had were early mag problems of cracking, and SA took great care of me.
I’ve picked up a few additional mags since, and no issues.

I did pick up the HB short stroke buffer and spring, only… due to the tighter follow up shots.
I can tell you on paper, it works for me.
I have about 250 rounds through the HB kit, two separate range trips.
The Kuna punches way above its weight class based on price.

Thanks for the feedback. This video seems like another one of those “if it’s on the internet, it must be true” fallacies.
I’m glad I brought this up here to get opinions from everyone to get peace of mind before buying one myself.
