I already own the 16. Can we just buy the 20" barrel?

I don’t believe the barrel is user swappable.
The Hellion barrel can be removed without much effort, though this is not recommended to be done as it's not a part that needs to be removed for cleaning or maintenance.
@xdman posted a thread answering a bunch of questions about the Hellion at the beginning of last year.

I don't much feel like dropping the paperwork and money on an entirely new rifle vs having a cool customization option.

I got a response from both Springfield Armory and HS Produkt. There's no plans to sell the barrels by themselves.

I own both the Edge pistol 10.5", and a Victor rifle 16", both having a 1:8 twist rate. What effects on the performance can I expect from the Hellion 18" or 20" with the 1:7 twist rate?

You can use heavier bullets.
