Senate Gun Control

Playing a devils advocate with what both the house and senate is proposing begs one question to be asked…….

What if everything that passes doesn’t stop mass shootings???
Well then obviously we need more gun laws. It’s always the same. Just one more law added to the 10,000 laws already on the books will do the trick.

Current gun laws are not enforced. Hunter has yet to face charges for his gun infractions. Why do we need more gun laws if criminals are not prosecuted and lawlessness is encouraged? This is a major distraction from the border invasion, war on oil, massive inflation, the devaluation of the dollar, and the coming/current recession. We pay these folks to protect us and do right by the people and we are not getting our money's worth.

Interesting article on Gun Control proposals from the Senate and from the Congressional side of the House. I'm somewhat struck by the proposal of Colorado Rep. Jason Crow, who wants Websites, Blogs, Forums (such as those like this one and the GunMagWarehouse Blog, etc.), to be held responsible for information that may be used by someone perpetrating a criminal act. I guess this former Army Ranger doesn't respect or care about the 1st Amendment nor the 2nd since this proposal was derived from the recent shootings.
