Show off your Every Day Carry!

I should have included that you have to be 21 years of age and there are restrictions on blade length of 3 inches. Some locals are even shorter.
Where did you get the blade length on a state-wide scale from? I'm very aware of Chicago and a couple of local ordinances but not in state law. While brass knuckles are prohibited as a carry weapon under Illinois law, enforcement varies wildly based on the "blueness" or "redness" of the area. In certain areas of the state, there are many real police that prefer knucks to batons, or sprays, or tasers. Used correctly, they are very low-key tools that observers may not even know were deployed.

This is one place https://knifeade.com/illinois-knife-law/

I agree that blade length isn't payed much attention other than in the NE part of the state and a few other locals. As long as you aren't using a longer blade for criminal useage.

Brass knuckles are not. Swithblades are legal as long as you have the dreaded FOID card.

As an additional note, the knucks in the picture were my grandfather's from when he was a Deputy U.S. Marshal. He gifted them to me when I took up the badge. I know quite a few, including one female, badged officers that still carry and utilize them on a regular basis, despite regulations. o_O

I have a few pairs around. I never liked them. They hurt your hands more than I'd like. A penny roll is nice.

It's kinda beat up but this old black(brown) jack ended numerous serious arguments many moons ago.

I've got one of these in black. Used to belong to a cop my dad's aunt was married to. I got his .38 too. A cut down aluminum baseball bat works pretty good too. These days I have one of these in the ride.

Here in Fla it is concealed only. They call it Costitutional carry. It is good and bad in my opinion.
I maintain my CCW permit for several reasons. No 3 day wait for handgun purchase, no headache with LEO as long as you don't act sketchy. The bad is that any punk (with clean record) over 21 can pack heat. The very same Punks are killing each other every night here. I say give them 500 free rounds with purchase, will speed up the "Natural selection" process and make the U.S.A. a better, safer place.

Punks with clean records are killing each other ?

For the record, here in Missouri there is no 3 day waiting period and as long as you don't act sketchy cops don't care if you paid for a permit or not.

Clean due to crimes committed as a minor do not carry over. Car wars here, when that Charger swings sideways across two lanes of traffic in front of you and the Family to block the street so 50 of his boys can do donuts and act foolish believe me, you are reaching and instructing passengers to get low. Obviously two different cities. I want to move but am seriously invested with company i have been employed with for 32 years as of September 23rd this year.

And these are committed by people legally carrying firearms ?
Not sure on a case by case, I get it, the right to carry is just that, but if anything, it clouds the legal system by allowing you, me, or anyone else to subvert the vetting process required to work toward preventing stupid people from legally carrying a gun.
