IF you place any credence in examination of Real World results , bullet type for bullet type , the .32acp is very close to results of .380 . ( Take that as you will , regarding how much is my liking .32 vs slamming on the .380 .)

(Yeah , l'm vulnerable to charges of hypocracy , but in my mind l compartmentalize .

Yes , best practices is to carry a full size -ish real handgun , in a major caliber , and Dress Around the Gun .

But IF , you are going to drop below a .38 Spl +P , but want signifigantly more than .22LR , a mid sized .32 is definately a viable option . )

This is precisely why I snagged the Bersa Thunder .32 when I could. Lipseys imported a limited number of these from Argentina, and snatched one up as soon as I could.

I have a Manhurin (French) Walther PP that is immaculate. It has the original (look up the pistol Bond was issued in the 1962 picture, "Doctor No"). If you inspect it closely, you'll see it was the Walther PP. It has a "cool" vibe to it as much as does the later Walther PPK. The 4/10 of an inch longer barrel makes it that much easier to shoot.

I have the FEG P32 .

Essentally a Hungarian clone of a PP . Also made with steel , mine is the alloy frame . I don't know if l'm just lucky , on previous owner had done some trigger work , but it's better than a stock Manhuren .

I almost didn't mention it ,because l didn't want to tease people . A small ish batch of P32 and more common P380 were imported in the '80s , and l bought it used in early '90s . But l haven't seen one for many years .

I know that the 7.65mm Browning (the European-level loads) are far better than people think. The 73-grain Fiocchi FMJ closely resembles what the European loads can, and will, accomplish.

The Beretta 80X in .32 ACP is still available. At least one manufacturer understands the potential of the "little .32".

No problems with a A63 for me. Good trigger pull, good cartridge, and easy to handle…

Ortgies, MAB D, PP, plus a few. .32 auto works for me…
