I've been the happy owner of a 2014 RAM 2500 since 2019.
I bought it a tad high mileage, 90 thousand on the odometer, and an unknown upkeep history.
First issue was the "leaking" rear window........ It wasn't the window, it was the the back up/brake light above it. And it's a common problem, with a simple fix. So I fixed it.........
My 2500 was a fifth wheel tractor in its previous life, so a few other things needed attention.
First up was the 100,000 mile tune up, on a 6.4 Hemi, it ain't cheap. I basically got the thing zero timed. Then I had the cooling system flushed. Next up was a passenger side front hub, an intermittent light killing my ABS & 4WD due to a bad ABS sensor, so it got replaced. Then, the front brakes.
Next up is the rear brakes, then the upper ball joint bushings on the front end.
Aside from the aforementioned minor issues, it's been reliable, and worth every dollar I've spent on it.
It's paid for, and for once in my adult life, I have more truck than I'd usually need, yes there's a back story, but I can't complain, even with the things that still need fix'n.
