They killed a lawmaker

Last year wife and I went to Europe. We went to Dubrovnik Croatia. Before Napolean, they were an independent city state for several hundred years (and the Republic of Dubrovnik was supposedly the First Nation to recognize the new United States). Anyway the guide told us about their system of government. They elected a new head man every year who ruled pretty much unilaterally, taking guidance from the council of elders ( mostly former head men). To keep the guys in charge honest they were financially audited on entering and leaving office. If they left with what they had when elected they were honored and a part of the ruling council from then on. If however they had MORE when leaving office than when going in they were the guest of honor at a public execution😳. Tended to make the rulers pretty straight arrows😏. Methinks wasn’t a bad idea….😏

and when this happens it's never about the protesters it's about someone (supposedly) intentionally killing another. when the dumbaZ$ breaks the taillight that's all it took for the driver to hit the gas. to bad a person died that didn't do the damage as another paid for her life with someone else's life. why would someone want to drive where this crap is happening in the 1st place. so many people with little to no brain power

I don’t agree. These “protesters” have no right to be blockading roads and damaging cars. The vehicles and their drivers have a right to be on the road and get where they have to go. They also have a right and responsibility to get away from danger. Why should anyone have to sit there and just take what these people are doing to them? It’s terrible what happened to this young woman, but she shouldn’t have been in the middle of a roadway trying to block traffic. That is not “peaceful” protesting… JMHO.
