Arguing tires is a futile effort, because everyone has his/her favorite for various reasons. I'm still of the old school to buy American when/if possible and that brings me back to Goodyear and/or Coopers. The Coopers are my personal favorite on my 2014 1500 Silverado. I've used Coopers of various sizes for many years and never felt I had a bad deal. BTW, it can certainly be argued that many brands are made in America, but generally the Goodyear and Coopers are the only ones verified. I'm not certain of all the requirements, but a tire manufactured in the USA is not always considered an American tire. There are many brands making a good quality tire, so find the one that meets your expectations and spend your money, hoping to get what you're expecting. BTW, for many years I used BF Goodrich on my 34' Bounder motor home. I had great service life and ride quality from them at about 3/4 the cost of the Michelins.
