An update on my reading finished a couple of Robert B Parker two Jesse Stone books and a Spencer one I kinda hook on reading again looking forward to check a another one of his books

I really enjoy the Jesse Stone series. And in the movies Selleck carries a 1911!

I believe it is Tom Selleck 's personal SW Gunsite model he uses in it. As well as his personal Rolex GMT Master he got from Magnum PI.

Loved the books also. The Longmire books are great too, he also uses a 1911. The last few have been a tad to out there but still decent.

The first two actually make more sense if you watch them reversed. The second movie take place prior to the first.

Just finished several of his Cam Richter novels, all excellent. On tap from an Amazon binge:

The Edge of Honor
Sweepers
Scorpion in the Sea

If you like Lee Child (Jack Reacher), these are similar, but written MUCH better...kinda like Child is for ages 12-17 and Deutermann is for ages 18+ (not dirty, just better).

I just finished "A Confederacy of Dunces" (I seek humor from many, varied sources) by John Kennedy Cole. Hilarious! Next: "A Time To Scatter Stones" from Lawrence Block, one of my favorite authors. This could very well be the finale of his Matthew Scudder series; a sad prospect for all his fans, and I.
