What are you doing right now??

Off I go to the hospital to have my next total knee replacement surgery done. I'll pretty much be stuck at home for at least the next six weeks, other than for physical therapy three times a week. Already have the truck parked and stored away for that time, as I won't be able to climb up in it for a while. Sucks that I can't have my coffee this morning.
Heal fast my friend!

First time seeing your Posts in a long time.
Sorry to read about your knees. Keep fighting and coming around here.
Good to see your posts!

Wishing you a speedy recovery ❤️

I'll be off to Fargo to run some heavy duty errands today. That said, no range time for me again this Friday :(. At times like these I wish I could just shoot off my deck. There's nothing out there, only trees and farmland, but we can't discharge firearms within town limits. I don't go any ranges up here on weekends, too many idiots...unless there's actually a class being conducted.

I have to tear myself away from my wood shop for a while today. Mrs Greener and I are heading to our favorite Thai restaurant in Pensacola for lunch today to celebrate our anniversary (which is actually Saturday). We are celebrating 46 years together. 4 kids and 9 grandkids, three great Labrador Retrievers, three horses, two goats, countless cats along the way, not to mention 42 years as a LEO and 6 years of deployments with the reserve after 9/11. How she has put up with me for that long is a study in tolerance, patience, and a great sense of humor. She qualifies for sainthood. I am a lucky guy.
Happy Anniversary!!

Yea, speedy recovery sir!!

Total knee replacement surgery went well. Already been up and walking using a walker. This is the same doctor I used for my other knee, and the same implant/device was used. But for now, this time around does not seem anywhere near as painful as the last time around. But that could be the drugs talking. This time I was awake for the surgery and could hear the doctor using all the tools on my knee. I asked if I could watch, but was told no. They blocked the view with a sheet. My first surgery about 7 and a half months ago, I was put under. And both times I had a nerve block. No range time for me for a while. Maybe when I graduate from the walker to a cane in a few weeks.

Wow…sounds like all went great, now heal fast and just don’t over do it, take care of yourself.

Kidney infection. They got her fever down and sent her home with antibiotics and morphine.
Hope she gets better Bob.
My sister recently had a kidney infection and then had to go back into the hospital for a few days to remove a stone that was part of the cause. I’ve passed stones and can say it isn’t pleasant but fortunately I never got a kidney infection.
Good luck to her 👍
