this is getting on my nerves...

this morning, got up before 4 AM.

i don't know why i keep getting up earlier nearly each day.

i go to bed tired from the scraping, cleaning then painting, and finish cleaning.

i am even going to bed a bit later then normal, at like now, between 9 to 9:30

so i got up before 4, made my usual breakfast, and out the door about 5, and ran some quick errands.

checked the flowers for watering, so i could move them (potted plants) for the rain to get them.

today is going to be mostly a painting day, and maybe a wee bit of scraping 1 more room.

but there is big piece of furniture in the way, and i cannot move that.

so i looked it up, why the early waking, here is what it says..

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Waking up earlier and earlier can signify circadian rhythm disruption, an underlying sleep disorder like sleep apnea, or a medical condition such as depression, anxiety, diabetes, or high blood pressure. It could also be a sign of aging or a natural change in your body's sleep needs, but if you are not getting enough restorative sleep, it's a good idea to consult a doctor or sleep specialist to identify and address the cause

well, i am a diabetic, i do have high blood pressure, and maybe the anxiety is that i want this work to get done long before thanksgiving week...????

but i ain't depressed.............well maybe i might be......my lottery numbers are not popping up...>!!

dammit, dammit, dammit.........

Well, my streak of not wearing pants has come to its end. 128 days of just wearing shorts has to be interrupted today because of a funeral I'm attending. My ex-mother-in-law passed away last week while in hospice care. She always liked me and wanted me to come to her funeral. So later today I'll change into a pair of nice jeans and a button up shirt. I guess that streak ended also. All I've worn for those days wearing shorts is a tee-shirt.

Range day yesterday went well, sorta. Got in 400 rds 9mm with the wife. Tried out the new PA 1-8x24 FFP on my LWRCI. Boner move- didn't completely tighten down the ring screws after leveling the scope and left my tools home on the bench. Took care of it as soon as I got home tho. The upshot is we got in some good 3-target self-defense practice. The Echelon is a good gun for this along with the HCP. The new grips on the HCP made a world of difference to me. Grip is fantastic!
