Insurance saleman figures he’ll make a killing selling insurance to the farmers. Drives out to the country in his brand new Caddy. See’s a farmer chewin on some straw. Sez, “hey wanna talk to you about some insurance.” Farmer sez, “sure drive on in.” Salesman sees a puddle and asks how deep it is. Farmer sez “not too.” Salesman drives thru gate, hits the puddle, car completely sinks. He swims up and sputters, “thought you said it wasn’t deep.” Farmer scratches his head and sez, “well”, he puts his hand to the top of his chest, “it only comes up to here on my ducks.”

Guy is huntin ducks, sees one, swings, “boom.” Bird goes down just on the other side of a fenched area. Guy goes thru the fench to retrieve the bird. Suddenly hears a voice sayin, “hey what are you doin on my property?” Guy explains he was retrieving the shot duck. Farmer sez, “it’s on my property.” Guy starts to argue. Farmers sez, “we’ll settle this here and now.” He suggests they take turns kicking each other in the crotch, last one standing keeps the duck. “Me first,” sez the farmer and proceeds to give the guy a brutal one between the legs. After a minute or so, the guy gets up and sez, “my turn.” Farmer turns around walking away and sez, “f it, keep the duck.”

well as per usual, or Ground Hog Day, got up well before the alarm clock.
got the laundry going now, had breakfast, and in a bit, go thru my log book, on which gun (hopefully a 45) will be going to the range this morning.
today and friday are for me, and the wife, no BS around the house (except for the laundry).

Dropped kids off at school. Its been raining all night, but a slow productive rain. 1.8" so far and still raining. Long slow rain for the soil moisture will be deep. Saturday the twins have another cross country meet. Hopefully be there on Friday to get some much needed clothes shopping before Saturday or just shop on Saturday also. Depends on what time we get to Amarillo (about 110 mile drive). Their meet is 20 miles from there. Might just stay in the town where the meet will be?

Thanks. I loved the dog too much to let her go. She has learned that those loud noises won't hurt her. She still doesn't like them but she handles it a lot better. We have also been able to take her off the medication. The results have been amazing!
