Fell asleep after happy hour around 6:30, woke up at 3 something, I've gotten 3 bad looks from my dog telling me it's not time to get up! It's going to be a long day........

I totally know about the husky thing. My best friend had huskies. They always destroyed their favorite toys. Thing is…the toys get thrown away (in pieces, mind you), and those dogs would be looking all over for them forever, so of course you have to get new ones, only for them to be destroyed within a week or less.
Trust me…I know.

Coffee and Maggie fed. Went for first walk already. Waiting for sunrise to take down Halloween decor. Then it's off to the commissary at Holloman AFB with the wife to do a shop. I might even change the oil and filter in the Buick. So, a busy day ahead.

Light rain. Kind of peaceful actually. I get a good signal obviously to check radar and browse The Forum to stave of boredom. Nothing moving except crows being a pita.

yup, as i figured...wife has me washing the floors...

simple enough, she is taking dishes out of the cupboards and washing those......that's usually a twice a year event here.

but, i just know, i'll be drying them and putting them away later.

someday...she's gonna miss me.

And with that, I need to get moving. I was assigned to a particularly physical job yesterday and I am really feeling it today. Cold, damp weather doesn't help either but hey, stuff needs doing. The husband has to be out of town for two to three weeks at a time now, as they are now running 24 hours at the job site . This means I need to get all his duds ready so he can swing by today and reload his suitcase. I need to rustle up some grub as well so time waits on no woman (or man ). Off and running.................
