So, the wife's birthday is in less than a week. I've been asking her what she might like for her birthday. She kept saying "Nothing, I want nothing." I know better than that. Today her cell phone takes a poop on her. She had been saying she has been having problems with it for almost two weeks now. And she really needs a good phone for her job. So, this morning I tell her I'll pay for a new phone for her for her birthday, and I don't want any arguments about it! I told her I really don't want to drive all the way into the city cell phone shopping with her and just gave her my credit card and told her to have at it. Now I see a purchase on my online banking for almost $1300! Holy smokes! I never really kept up with costs of cell phones, as my wife always took care of mine for me, but REALLY? I thought I'd get away with a couple hundred dollars and take her out for a steak dinner. Probably had my head in the clouds too many years!

Actually that isn't too bad. One of my friends paid $1500. Don't know what he purchased but that is ridiculous!
 
Hi,

I played a really fun gig this afternoon. A couple of sweet old ladies told me, with tears in their eyes, that I had sung a song that brought back precious memories of their husbands. Bless their hearts. Then I was going to do my laundry this evening. Instead, Mrs. BassCliff and I binge-watched half the new season of "The Diplomat". What a great show.

just had breakfast, and on my 3rd cup of coffee..wife is still sleeping.

then, i have to leave at like 8:30 to get to the tire store..........gain.........to have them locate the problem with my tire...........again.

tire was low again saturday morning, but i was too busy around the house to go and get it done yesterday.

hopefully today, someone will find the issue..

it is a slow leaking issue, since it took a couple of days to go near flat.......again.

if all else fails, i guess i'll be buying another new tire.
