the x is a low mount and should be low enough to co-witness on non-supp sites. then again i don't have exact measurements for the mounting area.Simon's out of his mind, the SCS is a great one. Especially if you want a small footprint, co-witness without suppressor height sights, auto brightness that actually works and not to have to screw around with batteries. Ever.
If you shoot outside the SCS is fine, but indoors it is just too bright and the 30 minute override makes it brighter. And nighttime fuggedaboudit.And here’s the two devils on my shoulders, whispering in my ears…
I think that’s just yours. Mine is fine indoors. I have two SCS and they are both the same. There are numerous threads on other forums with people making the same comments. But, hey, I did say I don’t get on with the SCS. Other’s mileage may vary.
