What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Simon's out of his mind, the SCS is a great one. Especially if you want a small footprint, co-witness without suppressor height sights, auto brightness that actually works and not to have to screw around with batteries. Ever.
the x is a low mount and should be low enough to co-witness on non-supp sites. then again i don't have exact measurements for the mounting area.

I think that’s just yours. Mine is fine indoors. The auto brightness feature on mine works multitudes better than all the other 507s, 510s or 512s I have.
I have two SCS and they are both the same. There are numerous threads on other forums with people making the same comments. But, hey, I did say I don’t get on with the SCS. Other’s mileage may vary. Maybe it’s something I the Missouri water. 😎😜

My point exactly. I think mine is pumped up from Galveston. Extra Chunky!

ordered 500 pieces of 277fury brass, 1,500 pieces of 135gr fmj-bt projectiles and reloading dies for the 277fury/6.8x51.......................now just to have a barrel/gun to shoot them in.

keep in mind that my reloading of them will NOT exceed 65K psi. other than buying the sig cross or their 6.8x51 ar that's designed for 80k of psi there isn't any custom barrel makers that'll build a barrel for the 80k limits. possibly for the cross, then yes but not for an ar that i've seen. unless there's a 4th of july sale i'll be waiting for the labor day sale. usually places offer 20-25% off on all barrels from x-cal, mcgowen, c6 and a few other places. i'll probably be buying from x-cal as i don't think mcgowen offers that chamber (custom chamberings add $60-75 usually and still might not chamber it). the fury can get close to the 270win performance (even @ 65k psi) at same barrel lengths.
