As i understand it, nothing will change other than the 200 dollars stamp will go away. and even that hasn't happened yet. there are still dems out there trying to stop it. You will still have to go through the process.

That's the changes to the law. The law doesn't proscribe what kind of check or how. That's an administrative rule.

My Sig P-220 Legion came in today. My Daughter and Granddaughter from Austin area are spending a few days with us will pickup the Sig up tomorrow. Dealer did tell me the pistol is the new green version hope I like it.

If you meant me , the luck doesn't transfer to hunting drawings. I've been putting in for the Pennsylvania elk drawing for 23 years without drawing. Lol. this years drawing is two weeks from saturday. I'm expecting more of the same.
