NC is 4.75 then most counties add about 2. My county goes hard with an extra .5 for roads or some stuff

what i stated was state, local and county tax total (8.25%). that's pretty much the norm across the state or at least where i've spent money.

Not being a 1911 fan I've been looking for a 220 in 45acp. Found some good deals, but no money for it right now. Next week is another story. I'm really liking the 220 and 226 series. Been looking at a cz in 45acp also. The g21 brought my love for the 45acp back to life as the 1911's killed it.

If you can believe this, I am in a little spat with the woman about buying a $20 Raptor bird's head grip for an 18" Mossberg 500. Some unexpected expenses have popped up in the last month and the expendable part of our household budget is accounted for. So I guess I have to wait until I make the next copper run.
Seems ridiculous to me that a guy who makes the money I make would have to have an argument with his wife about $20. I suppose as long as she doesn't try to decrease my monthly ammo budget I'll chalk it up as picking my battles.
