They are crazy quiet with a reputable .22 suppressorI may need a psychiatric evaluation, last night at the bar, I bought 2 H&K MP5s on line, they were on sale, really on sale, like half off, my GF was so excited about it I got her one too! Oh, they are both the .22 cal.25 round mags should be fun for both of us! (Can't wait to screw a can on and see how quiet it will be!)

I think the concern is jacket shearing off as the projectile passes the port of a rifled section of barrel. A lot of guns are ported through rifled areas ie. V6 an v8 style ports. Both my Staccato XC and Prodigy comp have a large port / compensator that is located past the rifled portion of barrel. There is an expanded area that has no contact with the projectile.
