What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

2k of Blazer Brass 124 fmj, just ball ammo but decent price at Sportsman's warehouse, $11.69 / 50 rnd box.
30 mile round trip to pick it up and no tax here until December 31. Forgot to add that you get 5% off of above deal if buying 10 boxes or more.

I learned , from Blazer Brass website, that 124 gr Blazer Brass should not be in pistols that have a compensator. Build up.
Go figure
Had to switch ammo

picked me up an old British gal, thinking about going to the range and playing Star Wars tomorrow

I may need a psychiatric evaluation, last night at the bar, I bought 2 H&K MP5s on line, they were on sale, really on sale, like half off, my GF was so excited about it I got her one too! Oh, they are both the .22 cal. :ROFLMAO: 25 round mags should be fun for both of us! (Can't wait to screw a can on and see how quiet it will be!)

They are crazy quiet with a reputable .22 suppressor

I hope it's a legit seller and not one of the many scams popping up lately with a too good to pass up price on something.

I think the concern is jacket shearing off as the projectile passes the port of a rifled section of barrel. A lot of guns are ported through rifled areas ie. V6 an v8 style ports. Both my Staccato XC and Prodigy comp have a large port / compensator that is located past the rifled portion of barrel. There is an expanded area that has no contact with the projectile.
Xc has well over 12k of Blazer fmj and the Prodigy is pushing 7k. No issues, I find the cleanup using Blazer is the easiest of the brands I have used. It is a plated jacket but it does cover the back of the projectile. I paint the inside of the comp with Slip 2000 EWL30 before each range trip, really keeps carbon/lead cleanup to a minimum. Just my experience with Blazer Brass.

Just bought 1000 rds of Magtech 9milli in 124 grain, for $219.99… not bad for this area. Found it online at a major LGS and drove 40-45 min each way to pick it up (therefore no shipping $, but stopped for gas - that might’ve been worse 🙄).
I managed to refrain - barely - from a new Shield X while there; they had both ported and non, a hundred bucks diff in price.
