Congrats!! I'm sure you'll enjoy it.Well, the answer is… yes I should. Went to Range USA and put 50 rounds through. I was surprised by how flat it shoots and how it returns right back on target.
When the wife gets pissed at me for buying it I am going to blame it on all of you!!! Order placed.
Unless they find out about each other........You sure? Hell hath no fury like a woman scorn

I’ll be ordering a FDE frame for mine at some point soon. I’ll post when I receive and set it up. SA sells them pretty cheap in black, FDE and OD Green.Very nice, even though it's black. congrats. but you should know to NEVER ask these guys if you should buy a gun. the guys and gals are some big time enablers.

Yes, I have found that out. Not one said, "No, you don't need another gun!" Not one!!!Very nice, even though it's black. congrats. but you should know to NEVER ask these guys if you should buy a gun. the guys and gals are some big time enablers.

Just installed a Tyrant CNC trigger on my Echelon. Very nice upgrade. Not that the Echelon stock trigger was bad, but I did get a little bit of a pinch from the trigger dingy. This Tyrant trigger eliminates nearly all the take up and has a much more positive return. Very nice. Below is a decent review of the trigger from some dude. I’ve found it’s pretty spot on with my experience. It’s also a pretty straight forward process for replacing. Tyrant has a good video on their website about how to do it.

Here in CA the 4.0c just got on the roster a few months ago. I just picked mine up a few days ago. I do not have a lot of rounds through it as of yet....but what I do have...it is an amazing gun. Shoots very well, and my EDC is a Hellcat OSP, so when you compare recoil from one to the other...well That extra weight is a recoil killer in comparison to the hellcat. I shoot this gun fast and smooth. I really really enjoy it. I hope you do too. Oh I am a former Air Force Cop....I have carried every day since Ieft the military.Hello. New to the forum. I bought my first Springfield a few months ago (Operator AOS 1911) and really enjoy it. I shoot it very well straight out of the box. I currently carry a Sig P365 as my EDC but I am quite intrigued by the Echelon 4.0C and I am considering purchasing one and working them side by side. One will end up being the nightstand gun and one will be the EDC at the end. I am hoping it shoots as well as the Operator for me. I have seen a couple videos discussing problems with the magazines. I have seen the slide lock back and during a mag change the top round nosedives for some reason and you get a failure to feed. I have also seen two videos with the baseplate falling off and spilling the rounds all over the ground. Also, in the videos the slide automatically releases during the mag change and other times the operator had to rack the slide manually. What exactly is the pistol designed to do?
Would appreciate if some of you will share your thoughts on the firearm and your confidence level of using it for an EDC.
I have the chance to get one of the gear packs with 5 mags and the red dot for $599. Seems worth it to me. What do you say?
Thanks in advance.
Great to hear you giving it the thumbs up. Since we got buried with about 13" of snow recently I have not ventured to the range so mine unfortunately does not have the first round through it yet. I am hoping to maybe run up to the range this week on my lunch hour and put a box through it. If you made it through the whole thread I did rent one at the range before I dropped the money on it and I loved it. Got laid out by AF police one day on our way to 29 Stumps but that is a story for another day.....Here in CA the 4.0c just got on the roster a few months ago. I just picked mine up a few days ago.
