I really like Aguila SSS. Great little round, packs a punch and its nice and quiet, not to mention the price is right

As mentioned, I like Super Extra...it’s basically a Mini Mag at half the cost.

Their Super Max is similar to a Stinger, iirc.

I also like their Interceptor line for carry in my S&W 43C.

I found a local shop that has a whole line of Aguila .22 ammo so I grabbed a box of the Super maximum and I can't wait to try it out.

I have a 22 Buckmark Gold now that I primarily use. I really want to look at a Volquartsen Scorpion. Don't know if I will put the Buckmark towards it. Still up in the air. It may be cost prohibitive. I will certainly look at others and I will be asking for advice.

I am still very much up int the air with this. Volquartsen might be trying to hit something out of the park as far as .22 goes. I am not doing anything with competition so it might very well be overkill. The shop I deal with gets them in once in a while so I could certainly get my hands on one.

I’m with you, and I like them, from what I’ve seen. I’d like to do something with a 6” TacSol paclite barrel with Volquartsen parts.

I just completed a comparison of 3 different .22lr rounds in 3 separate cantaloupes and you can the results below.

All the images are taken at the front impact area where the bullet entered the melons.

You can see the power difference using the Aguila super maximum that @HansGruber recommend.
