I very seldom ask for anyone's opinions on the I-net, primarily because I usually get 'em, but I'm just about worn out trying to get in love with the trigger in my Hellcat. I've tried and tried now for a little over 3 years and still don't like it. I've gotten some better with it but don't think I'll ever be competent or confident with it ... So, I'm asking for 'your' opinion as to the best of the best drop in triggers and why for my EDC. I love the little pistol, just can't live with the trigger any more. Thanks, jj.

I only have experience with Timney's. What I've bought for sig wouldn't work. I did buy an apex for the m/p 1.0, but haven't installed it yet. What's bad with the factory trigger?

If I remember correctly the trigger is a POS! I hated that trigger! Finally I said to myself i'm not going to invest in a new trigger for a new gun. I got rid of the thing and won't purchase another one until Springfield improves the trigger on the Hellcat line.

A buddy swapped his with an Apex, and it was a marked improvement.

Go with one that has an Aluminum trigger shoe. The Aluminum will stop the trigger flex that you probably don’t even know you have. It’s one of the things that make the trigger pull seem crisper after upgrading a trigger. When you pull the trigger on your stock hellcat the polymer flexes just ever so slightly and the metal fixes that. There are several top brands and basically they are all good at achieving the same thing trigger wise….making it better. I would not say one is 25% better than another, but would recommend looking at all of them and see who has the aluminum trigger, who has a sale going on, who’s in stock etc and go with that. Unless you have all of them right next to each other it will be had to say which one is the “best”.

Worst trigger on an OEM firearm I've ever felt - it's not you. You can upgrade the trigger, or you can get a different gun. A different gun will make the most difference (and it's strange, SA makes some REALLY good striker fired triggers... just not on the HC).

I’m getting an Apex trigger installed on my HCP OSP as we speak just dropped it off at the gunsmith will let you know in about a week or two if it made a difference . Majority of the reviews i read pointed towards Apex being the best go to trigger replacement for the HC and HCP.. we’ll see !
