Don't often look for opinions, but today I will.

Hellcat
I very seldom ask for anyone's opinions on the I-net, primarily because I usually get 'em, but I'm just about worn out trying to get in love with the trigger in my Hellcat. I've tried and tried now for a little over 3 years and still don't like it. I've gotten some better with it but don't think I'll ever be competent or confident with it ... So, I'm asking for 'your' opinion as to the best of the best drop in triggers and why for my EDC. I love the little pistol, just can't live with the trigger any more. Thanks, jj.

Go with one that has an Aluminum trigger shoe. The Aluminum will stop the trigger flex that you probably don’t even know you have. It’s one of the things that make the trigger pull seem crisper after upgrading a trigger. When you pull the trigger on your stock hellcat the polymer flexes just ever so slightly and the metal fixes that. There are several top brands and basically they are all good at achieving the same thing trigger wise….making it better. I would not say one is 25% better than another, but would recommend looking at all of them and see who has the aluminum trigger, who has a sale going on, who’s in stock etc and go with that. Unless you have all of them right next to each other it will be had to say which one is the “best”.

Might take a look at this trigger. They make some good parts.

I really appreciate all the 'come-back' on this. Like I said, I really love my little pistol, just can't stand the trigger. I've now looked at almost every one that y'all suggested and it seems each of them have some good points where others have a point a little less good ... (I think I said that right). At any rate I'm taking notes tonight and trying to decide on the right one for me. I see no reason I can't do the replacement myself. I'm not a gunsmith by any means but I am reasonably mechanical and have a fair assortment of tools for the occasion. But I do have a lingering question before I decide which trigger ... Do any of you have any thing to say, good or bad about the M*Carbo Performance package? It contains not only a trigger but a slightly modified sear, a replacement striker (Titanium for strength and less weight), and a couple other replacement springs. It seems to be the whole package of various parts all working together to make for a much improved firearm. So, what say y'all? Is the Performance package worth the extra cost and hassle installing it? If I'm going to go into my Hellcat, I'd just as soon go all the way and feel like I've done the most I can for it. Y'all did a good job offering trigger suggestions, how about a complete package? Thanks again, jj. YaHoo!

I can't speak to their HC parts (I'm sure someone here can), but their parts for other guns I've used them in - especially the Taurus TX22 - have all worked exactly as expected and brought performance / function gains with them. In terms of gain of function, they're the Wuhan lab of gun parts.
