Kidney will still needs to come out, and will have to see a kidney specialist for awhile after that,Good news for most of it. Hopefully you can get surgery done soon then back to your old self. Happy to hear it isn't as serious as you first thought.
Make sure you DON'T check the "gender reassignment" box on the surgery release form if they dope you up before they give you the form to fill out & sign.Update….. had bunch of tests, MRI, cat scans, bone scan, what ever the mass is, it has NOT spread anywhere else. I’ll be getting surgery real soon in Pittsburgh at AGH, if they take my insurance. Got my fingers crossed. I did get to come home for a bit now.
and make sure to get someone at the hospital to draw a big X on your back over the kidney that's coming out! You got this.Update: I go to Pittsburgh for my consultation with my doctors tomorrow, I reckon they are going to go over my surgery, and set up a date for it. Lots of anxiety right now, but I have to get this done soon.
