If your 1911 has ambidextrous safety then you will need to use dremel on underside of right grip to cut out notch for mechanism . I did that and it works fine.

I personally have not ordered from them. My grips were given to me. I would say from the layout of site, I would trust it to be a good place to purchase the grips from.

I got spoiled with my first 1911 back in Mar. 2001. Springfield custom carry. Essentially, built up like a professional model in hard chrome, without the front strap checkering. Carbon Creation grips added later on.
