You could take that 351M out and install a 460 with no problem.

I had a 1978 F250 4x4 I bought used . I built a 428 CJ .30 over with 780 Holly and installed. I had to make motor mounts because the FE engine series was never installed after 1976.

You could take that 351M out and install a 460 with no problem.

Or a 429?

I’ve had a bunch of Ford trucks. I had a 68’ with a 390, a 78 with a Boss 302, bunch of different 150s with stock 302s. My favorite was a ‘96 350 with the 7.3 Powerstroke and a 6 speed.

I had a pair of Mach 1s. One had a 351 Windsor and one had a 351 Cleveland. I bought them at the same time from the same guy. I also had a ‘67 Fairlane GT. It had a 289 when I got it. It had a Boss 302 when I sold it.
