Ain't that the truth??!!
Unfortunately this is also the truth!! Now ain't it??
Many years ago my wife and I talked my M-n-L in to going out on the boat with use one evening. It got late (dark) and we were just idling along the river enjoying the sounds and the breeze. Now you must know how deathly afraid my M-n-L was of the water, boats, and her perceived bad things that could happen to people out on the water after dark. I'm sure that was in her mind when a gigantic shrimp jumped out of the water and over the gunnel of my outboard boat, a 22' WA cabin at that time, and hit her smack on the side of her face. I've never been cussed out like that by anyone, much less a woman all the while swearing I threw that shrimp on her to scare her. Neither I nor my wife could convince her that it was common for shrimp to jump like that at night because the lights on board attract them. Sometime later we finally convinced her it was a real thing, said she forgave me, but she never did go boating with us again if we planned to be out after dark.Do you know anyone that's been slapped in the face by a fish??
Well, now you do!

This is kinda' the way I'm feeling about my silver collection today after the ride it had been on for the past couple weeks.
I'd laugh at it, but pretty sure I wouldn't be able to eat one!
His sight picture has got to be plumb crazy!!! But he's Mathew Quigley. He said he never had much use for a handgun, but he never said he didn't know how to use one.

Reminds me of a time many many years ago. Good friend had a 7 yr daughter, my son was 6. My buddy lived on a steep hill and had worked making a Nice sled run, including hay bales by trees and stuff in case you went out of the run. Sun had been out a bit, melted the surface a bit and it then refrozen. That puppy was Slick and we’re were afraid to let the kids go down it alone-wat too fast. We had a couple of the old steerable wood sleds with metal rails. I laid down on the sled and my son laid down on my back holding onto Dad’s shoulders. My buddy let go of the sled and Zip we were gone-great ride. Back up the hill. I hold the sled, buddy lays down on it. 7 year old lays down on Dad’s back holding his shoulders. Buddy gives the word, I let go and they’re on the way
