New Prodigy trigger pull weight only 2.7'ish lbs. after 650 rds.

I only have about 650 rds. through my new 4.25" Prodigy. I was expecting the trigger pull to be upwards of 4 to 5 lbs. being new, based on various reviews I read. I bought a Lyman digital trigger pull gauge to check it. I was surprised it was under 3 lbs. So what's the problem then? My plan...

First Round Problems with Prodigy 4.25"

After thoroughly reviewing the previous concerns related to the Prodigy, including issues with feed, ejection, battery failure, magazine, light recoil spring, disconnector, and various friction points, I still decided to purchase the Prodigy despite the $1500 investment, fully aware of these...

    Lower Prodigy rear sight?

Thought someone here might know...my 4.25 Prodigy shoots consistently 3 inches low at 15 yards (benched or hand held) with two or three kinds of ammo I tried. Per the Dawson sight calculator I need a .283 tall front sight instead of the .250 one on it. At that point it is ridicoulously tall...

    Prodigy 5in w/HEX Dragonfly

Purchased yesterday, stripped it down completely last night, cleaned it, lubricated as directed. Ran it today with 124 gr, FMJ Norma 9mm. Plan was to run at least 500 rounds out of 2,000 round batch, using the 2 mags that came with the gun. All screws were torqued to spec with a torque wrench...

    2023 Prodigy

I have the 2022 Springfield Prodigy, and at first I was worried it was a lemon on the first shots. It has since broken in and I am enjoying it. I saw a post about the 2023 version and that Springfield made a number of improvements to work out issues for the first generation. I would like to know...

Prodigy Rear Sight Set Screw size

After the last trip to the range I noticed that my rear sight was loose. I cannot figure out the size for the set screw that holds the sight in place. Any help would be appreciated. (Nothing in the manual or on the website).
