The larger pistols are easier to shoot well. Carry the largest pistol you can comfortably conceal. I carry a LW Commander while working all day doing cemetery work. I carry my 5” when not working.

I sometimes carry my Canik Mete MC9, 17+1, the Canik Mete SFX Pro and the H&K VP9 is too big to carry in the summer, my little Ruger LC9 works well in my pocket, then yesterday, I carried a Berreta APX 9mm, the 5 inch barrel caused my jeans pocket to stick out and my server stared and smiled at me, it's kind of noticeable.

I know I’m late to the party as usual. Honestly carry what you feel best with. I usually carry a M&P M2.0 compact (little shorter than the full size) with a streamlight TRL1 HL. It’s a little heavy but after a while I forget which M&P I have with me.

I own 3 hammer fired / 1911ish guns. A Kimber Micro 9, a full size Kimber in .45 acp and my 5 inch Prodigy. I have thought about switching from my decked out CR920x to carrying a 1911. But it still gonna have a light and optic if I do. The smaller striker fired guns are lighter to carry when wearing cargo shorts and Hawaiian shirts.

Same i run 4.25 M&P 2.0 most days. Have a sig foxtrot or something right now on it
