When it comes down to it, what is your "go to" EDC?

    That’s nice. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Do you enjoy gun cleaning?

I only use CLP to clean and lube. An 80% product is good enough.

    Do you enjoy gun cleaning?

Oh I still clean them after every range session. I just don’t enjoy it. 🙂

    Do you enjoy gun cleaning?

I always read that many firearms owners enjoy cleaning their guns. Personally, I do it because it has to be done, but it’s a chore for me, like taking out the trash or doing laundry.

Red Dot Recommendation for Hellcat Pro

The Hellcat is compatible with the RMSc footprint. The Holosun K and EPS optics support their K footprint which is a modified RMSc. Need a plate or you have to modify the slide and remove the front recoil posts.

Red Dot Recommendation for Hellcat Pro

Nope, needs a plate or you have to remove the front recoil posts. I run the 507K on mine with the CH Precision plate.

Best Carry Spots For Daily Tasks

More of the “don’t carry with a manual safety” nonsense in that article. For decades people carried the 1911, the Hi Power, and various other handguns with a manual safety. Rifles all have a manual safety. Then Glock came along and proclaimed that no one needs a frame mounted safety. And the...

When it comes down to it, what is your "go to" EDC?

Glocks are the VW Beetles of the gun world. They’re plain looking, have basic functionality, are relatively cheap, and don’t break down.

When it comes down to it, what is your "go to" EDC?

What fanny pack do you recommend? I’ve been thinking about one for summer or other times when it might be convenient.

    Holosun EPS Carry Review

I may be wrong, but doesn’t the OEM RMSc adapter plate from Holosun that ships with the EPS Carry work on the Hellcat? I have the CH Precision plate on my Hellcat with a 507K, so I’m not against their stuff, but I didn’t think a 3rd party plate was needed for the EPS Carry.

Anyone actually been able to buy a SA-35?

Glad everyone is getting theirs now. My LGS has them on sale for Black Friday for $550. Just wanted to point out my post being quoted is 2 years old. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Have a Hellcat. Is Hellcat Pro redundant?

Good advice and I agree, I shoot my Hellcat well and it conceals well. And yeah, spending a lot more than that on the wife. We’re doing a “second honeymoon” for our 30th anniversary. Leaving this weekend for Morocco. (My son is house/pet sitting. He’s 27 and armed. 😁)

    You know me well. 😁

Have a Hellcat. Is Hellcat Pro redundant?

I have a Hellcat OSP with a Holosun 507K mounted on it, and I also own multiple 15 round extended mags. With the obvious difference in slide/barrel length, there’s potentially a recoil difference between the original Hellcat and the Hellcat Pro. But the grip appears to be the same size between...

Handguns — Manual Thumb Safety, or No?

Now that I’ve seen, probably last time about 15 years ago. Don’t remember that specific line though.

Handguns — Manual Thumb Safety, or No?

I’m assuming no, since I have no idea.

Handguns — Manual Thumb Safety, or No?

The problem is people make mistakes. People aren’t perfect. And usually a ND isn’t caused by someone pulling the trigger with their finger. It’s a personal choice, but the whole “my finger is my safety” neglects to consider clothing catching or other ways that triggers get pulled without the...

Handguns — Manual Thumb Safety, or No?

For me, a striker fired carry gun must have a manual safety. I train and am comfortable with my choice. A hammer fired handgun doesn’t need a manual safety provided it’s DA/SA and has a decocker. I won’t get into defending my view or convincing anyone, and I’m just a nobody. But instead I’d...

    Illinois

As someone who left a blue leftist state (when it was just starting to get bad) in 2007 and moved my family 1,100 miles to a free red state, you have to make your own personal choice. Are you more comfortable staying and living as a second class citizen under the thumb of tyrants or will you...

Should I Own Different Handguns for Concealed Carry and Home Defense?

As long as it works for you and your wife, that’s all that matters. The biggest reasons for me that a revolver is a non-starter is lack of capacity, and generally if something goes wrong, the malfunction is catastrophic until fixed by a gunsmith. There’s no “tap, rack, shoot” or swap mags with a...
