Lou Renova is a competitive pistol shooter in USPSA and has trained with several world-class shooters over his shooting career.
His interest in competitive pistol shooting began about 12 years ago at the age of 28, after initially buying his first gun for home defense. Immediately after that purchase, the obsession kicked in and he jumped “all in” by taking several training courses for proper gun safety, handling and shooting. With very little instruction, he was top in his class and was looking for more ways to improve his skills.
This ultimately led to discovering USPSA, and finally being able to scratch his competitive itch. You can find him nearly every weekend at the range training and/or competing, inching closer and closer to his Grand Master class goal.
More recently, Lou has started blending his background in content creation and love for shooting pistols to start a YouTube channel to document his shooting journey, along with working with The Armory Life as a content creator and author.
