Matthew McClellan is a seasoned law enforcement professional, firearms instructor and content creator with over 11 years of experience in policing, leadership and behavioral analysis. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Criminal Justice Studies. Currently serving as a Police Detective, Matthew has also held roles as Chief of Security and is trained in FBI hostage negotiation.
He’s the mind behind Shooting The Breeze — a fast-growing YouTube channel (ShootingtheBreeze1) and Instagram page (@shootnthebreeze) where he delivers real talk, hands-on training tips, and honest gear reviews. With a deep background in firearms and a passion for helping others sharpen their skills, Matthew brings real-world insight without the fluff.
