Rick Hogg is the owner of War HOGG Tactical, based in North Carolina, providing firearms, tactics, and K9 training to civilians, military units, and law enforcement nationwide. He is a 29-year U.S. Army Special Operations combat veteran, former SOF K9 handler, and Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat Course instructor who brings decades of real-world experience and a building-block training methodology to every class.
Rick is also the co-host of the On the Range Podcast, featuring a wide range of guests and conversations on current events, firearms training, personal development, and more. He is the co-author of The Firearms Training Notebook, a performance-focused tool designed to help shooters build a plan for live and dry fire training to improve marksmanship and gun-handling skills.
In addition, Rick founded Project Officer Survival, which provides free law enforcement red dot pistol training with the support of his industry partners, and the In Honor of Duco Project, dedicated to providing medical care to retired SOF K9s.
